Over the last 20 years, the number of individuals diagnosed with a mental health condition has exploded. So have the number of medications prescribed to treat those disorders. Unfortunately, most psychiatric medications are not very effective and carry a host of unwanted, harmful, and potentially deadly side effects. This workshop is designed to arm you with knowledge on how to address the most common mental health complaints naturally. 

Sean Smitham, Ph.D. is a licensed Clinical Psychologist. He is passionate about providing a natural alternative to the mainstream mental sickness model of care. Dr. Smitham is committed to teaching people how to achieve personal peace, naturally -- without the need for diagnostic labels or potentially harmful psychiatric medications. Using Permaculture Design and Native Plants to Invite Wildlife into Your Yard

Permaculture is an amazing design tool being discovered by more people every day. We will discuss our culture's relationship with wildlife and how to live harmoniously with nature; Learn several ways that you can design your backyard ecosystem to be self-sustaining and inviting to wildlife. Please bring paper, pencil and any maps, drawings, pictures, or plans for your project. This is an extremely informative and interesting workshop, even if you don't have a specific project or piece of land.

Bryan Krueger is the owner of Heart of Green Ecological Services (www.SustainableLandscapeSpokane.com)- offering Permaculture-based landscape design, install, and maintenance, as well as a host of other yard and garden services. He is also the President of the Board of Directors at Pine Meadow Farm Center, a non-profit, educational farm near Cheney, WA.
