Canning 101: Preserving the Harvest

Bryan is experienced in many aspects of food production and has farmed and gardened organically for over 10 years in the Western U.S. Come learn how to can your first batch of summer’s harvest and preserve it without additional energy for winter use. There is nothing like a can of home-grown dilly beans or canned tomatoes when the snow is flying outside!

Bryan Krueger is the owner of Heart of Green Ecological Services (www.SustainableLandscapeSpokane.com)- offering Permaculture-based landscape design, install, and maintenance, as well as a host of other yard and garden services. He is also the President of the Board of Directors at Pine Meadow Farm Center, a non-profit, educational farm near Cheney, WA.
